  1. The poem, The Man From Ironbark, had these beautiful words……… “There were some gilded youths that sat along the barber’s wall,
Their eyes were dull, their heads were flat, they had no brains at all”

That was many years ago, and I fear we have now elected some of their descendants to govern us.

Education? I know who needs educating but I feel it may be too late.

Here be a cartoon on it . .

      1. It’s good to be back, Edward.
Unfortunately, “life’s In-tray” suddenly overflowed and I was consumed by some important priorities. Hopefully back on track now. Too big a smorgasbord of political material to miss out on.

  2. No doubt his drawing hand is working overtime while we speak Eugene. Good to hear from you btw. In the light of todays events, I may have to instruct Madame Ruth the Post’s resident astrologer to consult her charts once again.
In November 2013, she did predict that Abbott would be gone in eighteen months – It’s not quite that now (damn those back-benchers for making their move just a shade too early) and he’s asked for another 6 to turn things around, but I’d give it about 4 months before the next challenge, and you can bet that the next one will be fatal.
Just as a footnote, I wrote and posted this one around midday yesterday.
